Blue Back Books

Billboard Ads line the cityscape and the country roads. Every few weeks the subjects are pasted over, and they get buried over time under an increasingly thick layer of paper. I cut one fragment out of the billboard, from the first layer to the base plate. With the help of water, the individual layers are exposed again. In book form, they are a play of abstract shapes and colors, an invitation to slowness and poetry.
